GSCP Webinar on the ITC's Trade for Sustainable Development programme

ITC representatives Joseph Wozniak and Mathieu Lamolle presented the programme to GSCP members on June 3rd 2010.
Attendees were introduced to the market analysis tools developed by the ITC to enhance the transparency of global trade and market access, and to help users, notably from developing countries and territories, in their market analyses.

This aim is furthered with the advent of Trade for Sustainable Development (T4SD), a partnership-based programme to enhance transparency on voluntary standards and increase opportunities for sustainable trade. The main goal of the T4SD programme is to develop a web-based tool - Standards Map - that centralises and disseminates information on voluntary standards and related research papers to strengthen the capacity of producers, exporters and buyers to participate in sustainable production and trade.
