GSCP Webinar on New Earth's Life Cycle Assessment Tools

Life Cycle Assessment aims to provide a comprehensive view of products’ social and environmental impacts. In the context of acquiring greater visibility and transparency in product supply chains, life cycle assessment is a key method. High cost and time requirement, variable data availability and quality and lack of user friendly tools has been prohibitive in making life cycle assessment mainstream in the past.

New Earth founder Gregory Norris and associate Catherine Benoit presented the Earthster initiative and the Social Hotspot Database project to GSCP members on July 19th 2010, providing attendees with their solutions to accelerate the transition to sustainable products & supply chains into the future.
